Project Description: RAven Construction Management Inc. was contracted to perform the civil and foundation work for a new Transformer Station Islington TS consisting of two transformer containments, a PC&T building, OWS and various yard foundations.

Project Scope:

• Strip and remove contaminated soil

• Rough grade and excavate foundations

• Form and pour foundations

• Install precast oil water separator and containment blast wall

• New drainage for entire station

• Import and compact granular backfill material

Highlights: Transformer containment base slabs and walls poured monolithically removing the need for a water stop gasket.
