Project Description: Raven Construction Management Inc. was contracted for a new relay building for Third Line TS in Sault Ste. Marie, ON.

Project Scope:

• Construct access road

• Excavation for building footprint

• Caisson drilling of eighteen caissons 26 meters deep, keyed 1 meter into bedrock

• Form and pour caissons, foundations and slabs

• Provide new drainage tied into existing station

• Install doors/hardware, stair railings, trench covers

Highlights: Project lasted longer than anticipated due to unforeseen circumstances, requiring more testing prior to foundation work.
