Project Description: Project located in Thorold, ON, involved the construction of a new P&C building for Hydro One at their transformer station.

Project Scope: Raven Construction was responsible for all civil activities associated with the construction of the new building. Our scope included:

• Daylighting, excavation and backfill operations

• Yard drainage and grading

• Formwork, rebar and cast-in-place concrete of new P&C building foundation and slab on grade

• Foundation waterproofing

• Install built up roof parapet

• Supply and install all doors and hardware

• Supply and install suspended ceilings

• Asphalt paving

Highlights: Located right in the middle of an existing 500kV Substation the “limits of approach” had to be flagged and followed during all planning and execution of work.
