Project Description: Project located in Scarborough Ontario involved the renovation of an existing Toronto Hydro facility to allow for a new data center.

Scope: Raven Construction was responsible for all civil activities associated with the construction of the new facility. Our scope included:

• Excavation and backfill operations

• Sawcut and remove existing concrete slab on grade

• Formwork, rebar and cast-in-place concrete for new duct bank, two generator foundations, bollards, suspended mezzanine deck and slab on grade

• Asphalt Paving

Highlights: All work took place in an existing Toronto Hydro Building that was under full operation, Daily coordination was required with all trades and Toronto Hydro Staff to ensure there was no disruption to Toronto Hydro’s Operation.
